TuneIn signs representation deal with Oboxmedia

Oboxmedia of Montreal has signed an agreement with TuneIn, an online audio streaming company based in San Francisco. Under the terms of the deal, Oboxmedia will sell mobile advertising on TuneIn's service to Canadian advertisers. According to the company, TuneIn offers audio from approximately 100,000 international radio stations, as well as on-demand programming such as podcasts and audiobooks. It attracts approximately 60 million users per month.

"TuneIn is one of the first and most successful music, sports and news radio streaming services and we look forward to integrating Canadian brands with more native content solutions," said Andy Querin, chief revenue officer at Oboxmedia. "Mobile is a priority for Oboxmedia and TuneIn delivers a significant and engaged mobile audience."
