Matte PR gains two clients

Matte PR of Toronto has recently gained two new accounts. Real estate brokerage Engel and Völkers North America has retained the firm as its public relations agency of record. Matte PR will manage national media relations programs and will work to support the company's Canadian expansion plans. Matte has previously worked for the company on a project basis.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario has hired Matte PR  to handle public relations for a campaign called "The Extraordinary Italian Taste." The provincial initiative, which promotes the consumption of Italian food, includes tours of Italy, classes at Centennial College School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts and sampling programs in food stores. The agency will also handle the organization's social media activities.

"We selected Matte PR to achieve ICCO's goal of helping Canadian consumers identify authentic Italian products when they buy their groceries," said Corrado Paina, executive director of the organization. "At the same time, we want to reach food industry experts, chefs, as well as the general public to offer suggestions on how to prepare dishes that enhance all their unique properties and characteristics."
