New CEO at J. Walter Thompson

Gustavo Martinez, chief executive officer of J. Walter Thompson, has resigned from the company. According to a statement from the company, his resignation is by mutual agreement and in the best interest of JWT. The agency's chief communications officer, Erin Johnson, recently filed a lawsuit against Martinez and JWT alleging sexist and racist behaviour.
Tamara Ingram has been appointed to the position of CEO at JWT. She was most recently chief client team officer at WPP. Prior to that, she was president and CEO of Team P&G. Ingram has also been group CEO of Grey UK and CEO of McCann Worldgroup. George Rogers has been appointed chief client team officer at WPP. He will also remain the agency's global business development director.
