CaliBurger retains Praxis

Fast food chain CaliBurger has hired Praxis of Mississauga to support the launch of its first location in Canada. The assignment includes communications planning, a launch event and media relations. The restaurant opens today in Waterloo, ON, specializing in "California-style" hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and related menu items. Additional CaliBurger locations will open later this year in Vancouver and southern Ontario.
"Praxis knows the hospitality industry," said John Miller, chairman of CaliBurger. "They showed our team they had the experience, creative ideas and enthusiasm to deliver winning results for our Canadian launch. We're excited to open the doors in Waterloo and look forward to creating a strong brand together in the Canadian market."
