Canoe Kayak Canada begins rebranding effort

Canoe Kayak Canada, a national organization managing competitive paddling, has undertaken a rebranding initiative. Developed by Toronto-based Dot Dot Dash, the effort in intended to increase public interest and participation in these sports. The brand materials, includes a new logo and an online video, are intended to appeal to a wide variety of enthusiasts, cottagers and competitors, as well as potential corporate sponsors.

"Our country's story is intimately tied to the canoe and to paddling," said Blaine Pearson, managing director at Dot Dot Dash. "It's integral to the Canadian identity. As an agency who is passionate about collaborating with brands who stand for good, our team is proud to have created this new look for Canoe Kayak Canada, the leader of one of our country's greatest and most cherished sports."
