By Adnews Staff
Google Canada has released a year-end report on the most popular video ads displayed on YouTube in Canada in 2015. The term "most popular" in this case refers to advertisements that viewers chose to watch rather than skip. Together, these 10 ads were viewed approximately 257 million times in 2015. Their average length is 97 seconds, and their average watch time duration was 72%.
The most popular ad on YouTube in Canada in 2015 was for the video game Clash of Clans, released by Finnish company Supercell. This was followed by an ad for video game Boom Beach, also from Supercell. In third place was an ad for Procter & Gamble's Always brand as part of its "Like a Girl" campaign. This was followed by a Budweiser commercial called "Lost Dog," which ran during the 2015 Super Bowl, followed by a Unilever Father's Day ad for its Dove Men+Care product line. Rounding out the list are ads from Reebok, Duracell, Quaker Canada and the Government of Ontario.
