Miller Lite sponsors Major League Baseball

Brewing company SABMiller Canada has signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with Major League Baseball to make Miller Lite the official beer of the league in Canada. The sponsorship will go into effect this month with promotional activities surrounding the 2015 All-Star game.
"We are excited about our new relationship with Major League Baseball and to be able to engage with baseball fans through our shared passion for the sport," said Keith Fawcett, director of marketing for Miller Lite. "Just like baseball, Miller Lite has an all-American origin and a rich heritage. We believe that a sport like baseball represents a perfect occasion to enjoy light beer, whether you're at the game, cheering on your favourite team at a bar, or watching or listening to the game at home."
