Yorkdale Shopping Centre begins spring campaign

Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto has begun a spring advertising campaign called "What's Next." It consists of magazine and digital advertising on Canadian fashion and lifestyle properties, as well as posters and a video display in the mall. The campaign's visual style will also form the basis of a redesigned website at <http://www.yorkdale.com>, which will launch on May 7. The creative features products sold by the mall's retailers, photographed by fashion photographer Victor Demarchelier. Demarchelier will also make a personal appearance at the mall on May 7 as part of the campaign. He will also participate in additional phase of the campaign through 2015.

"This campaign is anchored on staying ahead of the trends, and that's something Yorkdale delivers on repeatedly," said Lucia Connor, marketing director at Yorkdale. "The theme 'It's not what's in, it's what's next' encapsulates everything we do. We are proud to be the Canadian gateway for many of the world's top brands and a destination for fashion lovers everywhere. We wanted a campaign that celebrates those elements."

Yorkdale Shopping Centre is owned by Oxford Properties Group.
