Rec Media joins COMB
Rec Media of Toronto has joined the the Canadian Out-of-Home Measurement Bureau, an organization that sets standards for the measurement of out-of-home advertising audiences nationally. It also publishes circulation and market data for approximately 280 markets. Rec Media operates an inventory of advertising displays in community and municipal recreational facilities nationally. The first data from these displays will be included in the January 2016 report from COMB.
"The measurement of community arenas is a new category for COMB," said Julie Myers, chairman of the organization. "The importance of having independent measurement of OOH audiences is critical to a buyer's evaluation of an OOH operator, and we are pleased that Rec Media has taken this step forward."
