Partnership for a Drug Free Canada hires Hill&Knowlton Strategies

The Partnership for a Drug Free Canada has retained Hill&Knowlton Strategies of Montreal to conduct its public relations and communications initiatives. The agency will participate in the organization's national educational and public awareness campaigns, including an upcoming campaign intended to raise awareness of drug-impaired driving. In addition, Dimitri Gourdin, senior vice-president and general manager of Hill&Knowlton Montreal, has joined the board of directors of the organization.

"The partnership's mission is fundamental for our society," said Dick Pound, chairman of the board of the organization. "Youth are great riches and we have to make sure they don’t sink into drug abuse. I am therefore pleased by the addition of this new partner who will help us educate and raise awareness on the issues we tackle in our campaigns and on the partnership itself."

The Partnership for a Drug Free Canada is a non-profit organization that developed drug education and prevention messages in association with advertising, research and media firms.
