AGENCY SET FOR UNICEF CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Publicis*BCP of Toronto is preparing to launch UNICEF Ontario's annual greeting card campaign in mid-November. The campaign will include outdoor, mall and subway ads, supplemented by public service announcement print ads. The company is also conducting public relations for UNICEF's Halloween drive. Publicis won the pro bono account in an August review. The other agencies contending for the account included incumbent BWC Advertising of Toronto, K D Black and Company Inc. of Toronto and Shibinsky McAuliffe Solway Advertising Inc. of Toronto. Beth Berton-Hunter, UNICEF's director of communications, told Adnews the agency launched the review because it felt it needed more support. She said UNICEF believed that Publicis' team provided the best value for the money. UNICEF has a $24,000 budget for media buying and production.
