CANADA SAVINGS BONDS CELEBRATE 50TH YEAR

The federal government is trying to rev up sales of this fall's Canada Savings Bonds (CSBs) with a national TV and print campaign. CSB sales have been slow in recent years. The TV ads began running Sept. 30 and the print ads appeared last week. Both are slated to run until the end of the month. Vickers and Benson Advertising Ltd. of Toronto working with Tam Tam Publicité Inc. of Montreal created the ads. Genesis Media Inc. of Toronto executed the media buy.
