Vanier College launches online video service

Vanier College of Montreal has launched a new online service called Vanier Television. The initiative will offer live and pre-recorded video content online at <http://vtv.vaniercollege.qc.ca>. The site will specialize in content relevant to the students, faculty and staff of the college, including material produced in-house and by students. The site will also carry live streaming video of various campus events.
"VTV is going to be another medium to showcase the enormous talent of the Vanier Community both internally and externally," said Darren Becker, director of communications and corporate affairs at Vanier. "By also allowing students to broadcast their own work and produce videos I feel that VTV offers a unique approach to college television and will prove to be an asset in terms of how we can market Vanier College in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and the rest of the world."
