Wines of Germany Canada begins Riesling promotion

Toronto-based Wines of Germany Canada has begun a national promotion called "31 Days of German Riesling," intended to introduce Canadian consumers to the wine variety. During July and August, participating restaurants and retailers will conduct tasting events or dinners, or by-the-glass specials or food and wine pairings. The promotion also includes a website at <http://www.31daysgermanriesling.ca> to provide information about participating location. Consumers can also enter a contest to win a trip for two to Berlin. This is the third year the organization has conducted this promotion.
