NextUse Recycling debuts new website

NextUse Recycling of Vancouver has launched a new website at <http://www.nextuse.ca>. The site is intended to promote the concept recycling and its benefits compared to waste incineration or landfilling. The launch of the site coincides with a proposal by Metro Vancouver to build a new incinderator for unsorted waste. NextUse is proposing the construction of a recycling facility.
"Recyclables should be recycled, not burned," said Russ Black, vice-president of corporate development at NextUse. "It's hard to accept an expensive disposal option when there are better ways to reduce our waste and maximize recycling upstream of incineration or landfilling. Nextuse.ca promotes a proven option that can be driven by the private sector, at no added cost or risk to taxpayers. We feel recycling solutions are a priority, and they should be part of the discussion."
NextUse Recycling is a subsidiary of Belkorp Environmental Services.
