Hill&Knowlton Strategies adds one, promotes two

Hill&Knowlton Strategies Canada of Ottawa has appointed Mark Cameron to the position of deputy leader of its national energy practice as of Jan. 2. He was director of policy and research and a senior policy advisor at the Office of the Prime Minister from 2006 to 2009. Cameron has also been director of corporate affairs at Ontario Power Generation. Most recently, he was director of global public policy at BlackBerry.

The Toronto office of Hill&Knowlton Strategies has promoted Mary Warner to the position of account director. Prior to joining the agency in 2006 she was a public relations manager at Sullivan Entertainment. She was also communications coordinator at Gail Picco Associates.

Heather Coleman has been promoted to the position of senior account director in the agency's Edmonton office. She was previously an account director. Coleman joined the agency as a senior consultant in 2010.
