Life Choices Natural Food begins national campaign

Toronto-based Life Choices Natural Food has begun a national marketing campaign focusing on its shift to grass-fed meats. The campaign features a new logo and new packaging, print advertising, public relations, social media activities, a redesigned website and a philanthropic activity component. The campaign also includes a media program promoting Grandview Farms, the company's beef and pork livestock facility in Thornbury, ON. The creative seeks to convey the company's commitment to natural, organic and sustainably-grown ingredients that are managed by Life Choices through the entire production process.

The new logo and packaging, which feature traditional farm imagery, were developed by Slingshot Communication of Toronto. Public relations activities, developed by The Siren Group of Toronto, will encompass publicity, product placement, special events, consumer and trade show participation, national media relations, media tours, sponsorships, speaking engagements, philanthropic activities and social media work.

"My wife and I started Life Choices more than 10 years ago primarily out of concern about what to feed our new baby," said Matthew von Teichman, CEO of Life Choices. "Following a simple focus on natural and organic ingredients, we have grown to become the largest manufacturer of organic and naturally prepared meals in Canada. Our story is unique in that we have a powerful message to deliver to consumers who are looking for genuinely healthy alternatives to feed their families."
