NEW WINDOWS NT SERVER COMING FROM CLARIS
By Adnews Staff
Claris Corporation, with Canadian head offices in Toronto, introduced on Tuesday the FileMaker Pro Server 3.0 for Windows NT, a relational database engine that will accelerate FileMaker Pro 3.0 database operations over Windows NT-supported networks. It will be available early next year across North America. The product will support both Macintosh and Windows network users within small-to-medium sized businesses and corporate workgroups who need faster database access and performance. There will not be any advertising for the server, but public relations work is being carried out by Atkins & Ellis Ltd. of Toronto.
