NEW MARKETING DIVISION FOR ROZON/JUST FOR LAUGHS

The Rozon/Just For Laughs Group, a Montreal-based organization striving to promote comedy as an art form, announced on Friday the creation of a new marketing division. It will concentrate its development efforts on four major business activities: product marketing, event sponsorship, promotion and tourism. It is hoped that the new initiatives will enhance the outfit's image through merchandising and licensing agreements, while also raising its international profile. The Group is responsible for a number of activities, most notably the Just For Laughs Festival held in Montreal each year, as well as the Just For Laughs Museum. It was also announced on Friday that Alain Cousineau has returned as the Group's vice president, marketing.
