Polifka joins Cardiome Pharma

Pharmaceutical company Cardiome Pharma of Vancouver has appointed Jürgen Polifka to the position of general manager of sales and marketing for Europe. He will oversee the company's commercial activities in that region. Polifka was previously at Merck, Sharp & Dohme, where he held positions including product manager, marketing and sales manager, director of hospital and specialty products, brand leader and regional marketing leader.
