Retail Media Group adds motion to grocery bar ads

Retail Media Group of Calgary has introduced a new animated variant of its AdBar advertising format. The AdBar service makes use of advertising displays on the bars used on grocery store checkout conveyor belts. The new option includes an "animated ink" technology that can be used to create moving colour images. The first advertiser to use the new format is Shaw Media, which is currently promoting its Global Television fall line-up in the Greater Toronto Area. "We are delighted to debut this format with Shaw, a long-term client of Retail  Media," said Claudio Rodrigues, president of Retail Media Group. "The marketing team at Shaw is always leading the way on innovative ways to reach today's audience, and we are thrilled to have been able to work with them on pushing creative delivery to new limits."
