Chang School begins fall campaign

August 24, 2012

The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University has begun an advertising campaign promoting the fall school year. The campaign, called "Soar," was developed by Ryan Edwards Communications. It consists of transit shelter and subway advertising in Toronto that will run until Sept. 17. Additional elements include radio commercials, commuter newspaper ads, digital out-of-home ads and an online contest. In addition, this week promotional workers distributed branded balsa wood gliders at Union Station during the evening commute. The creative is intended to "capture the sensation of taking that first flight into the working world after graduation," according to the school. This fall, for the first time, the school will also advertising outside of Ontario. Transit advertising will run in Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Vancouver during the week of Aug. 27. These ads will focus on the school's distance learning programs and will be supported with a series of online videos featuring its instructors.
