Toronto-based Exclaim Media and Aux.TV have launched a new website called ConcertSherpa.com Beta. Developed in association with Factor, OMDC and the Bell Media Fund, the site offers interactive concert listings for Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver as well as videos and artist news. Future expansion plans include national listings and a smartphone application. "Great music centres on the power of the live experience, where fans connect with each other and the artist," said Ian Danzig, publisher of Exclaim Media. "With Concert Sherpa we want to offer a platform that brings music fans to more shows, providing interactive national concert listings with the latest news and video on artists for users to explore." The launch of the site is being promoted with a Facebook contest, the winners of which will receive tickets to Gotye concerts in Ontario and BC.
