Toronto-based consumer activation and shopper marketing firm Match Marketing Group has acquired experiential marketing agency Action Marketing Group of Boulder, CO. No financial details are available. According to Match, the acquisition will create an "integrated end-to-end retail, experiential and digital platform." Action's clients include Adidas, Bombardier Recreational Products, Pepsi, Ford, Lincoln, Progressive Insurance and the NBA. "This move was based on rapidly expanding client needs," said Perry Miele, chairman of Match Marketing Group. "Brands now need a wider range of resources and an integrated approach in these combined spaces."
