The Search Agency buys The Acquisition Agency

Los Angeles-based online marketing firm The Search Agency has purchased The Acquisition Agency of Toronto, also a digital marketing company. The Acquisition Agency will become The Search Agency's Toronto office, headed by Acquisition CEO Jason Sikora. Its services will include search engine marketing and optimization, as well as affiliate management, media buying and planning and online lead generation campaigns. This is The Search Agency's first move into the Canadian market. No financial details are available. "The old adage of the whole is greater than the sum of its parts definitely rings true with our acquisition of The Acquisition Agency," said David Hughes, CEO of The Search Agency. "With a reputation for smart campaigns with measurable results from some of the brightest minds in digital marketing, The Acquisition Agency will help us drive even better results for our clients in Canada and here in the States. When we looked to grow into my native Canada, it was important for us to partner with a leading firm that had an established presence in the market, and we found that in The Acquisition Agency. It's exciting to have fellow Canadians on board as we grow The Search Agency's international presence overall."
