La Presse of Montreal has appointed Reneault Poliquin to the position of general manager of sales. He will begin work on May 22. Poliquin will be responsible for the management of the development, retail, special sections and classified advertising divisions at the newspaper. Since 2008, Poliquin has been vice-president of digital sales, 360-degree solutions and major accounts at TC Media. He has also been vice-president of sales and marketing at Pixman, senior vice-president of sales and marketing at TVA Group, vice-president of sales and marketing at Astral Media, vice-president and general manager at Omni Outdoor, regional sales manager at Western Broadcast Sales, national sales manager at Société Radio-Canada, and sales manager for Radiomutuel, Mutuelcom and CKMF-FM Radio.
