The site is intended to make it easier for Canadians to find relevant information and tools concerning their health. The site's features include a symptom checker, self-assessment modules, "healthy habits" guides, smoking cessation programs, health news and reference materials, as well as advice from physicians, pharmacists, naturopaths and nutritionists. "Technology has empowered us with convenient, fast access to health information, yet much of the online information is unverified," said Paul Lepage, senior vice-president of Telus Health Solutions.
