Cruise ship company Holland America Line has begun an online contest promotion called "Share a Holland America Line Hightlight." The contest is running via Facebook in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany and Australia. Consumers can enter by submitting a description of a cruise experience. Public voting will determine a list of 10 finalists. A judging panel will select the winner, who will receive a seven- to 11-day European cruise for two. "We continually hear from our guests about their once-in-a-lifetime experiences onboard, and we want to bring these memorable stories together and share them," said Richard Meadows, executive vice-president of marketing, sales and guest programs for Holland America Line. "Our Facebook community allows us to connect and interact with our fans on a more personal level and this is an ideal way to feature their cruising highlights."
