BLOCK PARENT LOOKING FOR MORE PEOPLE

The Block Parent Program of Canada is trying to get more people involved in the program. The organization launched a national transit shelter campaign this week that focuses on the benefits of becoming a Block Parent. The poster directs people to their local Toronto Dominion Bank for applications and information about the program and how to become a Block Parent. The ads were created by TBWA Chiat/Day Advertising of Toronto. This is the second year TD Bank has sponsored the Block Parent program. The program helps makes communities safer by encouraging co-operation among citizens, law enforcement agencies, school boards, all levels of governments and supportive businesses and service clubs.
