Toronto Pan-American games hires Stellick Marketing Communications

Toronto-based Stellick Marketing Communications has been retained as sports public relations agency of record for the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee. Stellick will develop a plan intended to communicate the impact and relevancy of the games through the media. The initiative will focus on 17 communities in the Golden Horseshoe region of Ontario, as well as national and international sports media figures. The contract also includes media training sessions for athletes. "Stellick Marketing Communications brings a huge bandwidth of knowledge and expertise from their years of work in the sport world," said Elissa Freeman, director of communications and public relations for the committee. "Their understanding of the nuances of amateur athletics and its power and influence on the world stage will be extremely beneficial to TO2015."
