Moneyville.ca conducts guest blogger contest

Toronto-based financial information website Moneyville.ca has begun a contest promotion to find a guest blogger to write for the site. Consumers can enter by submitting a piece of financial advice, a sample blog post and three ideas for additional writing topics via the website. Five finalists will be selected and their entries placed online for public voting. The winner will write for the site for up to three months and receive up to $4,000. Their work will also run in the Moneyville section of the Toronto Star. Four secondary winners will have their posts published on the site and in the paper, and will receive $500. The contest will close on June 1. Moneyville.ca is owned by Star Media Group, which is a division of Toronto Star Newspapers, which is a subsidiary of Torstar.
