L'Oreal Canada begins Youth Code Generator promotion

L'Oréal Canada has begun an online promotion called the "Youth Code Generator" in support of its Youth Code line of skin care products. The generator enables consumers to create a mosaic intended to symbolize their own personality DNA. The mosaic can then be converted to computer wallpaper or shared with others via Facebook. The generator, located at <http://www.lorealparis.ca/youthcode>, asks users 10 questions about their personality traits, favourite activities and social preferences. Each answer adds a picture to pink background. The initiative was developed by Montreal-based Nurun. It is being promoted on the company website, through online banners and through social media activities. "L'Oréal Paris is continually striving to look at ways to better connect with our consumers, and digital marketing is a top priority for the brand because it helps facilitate that connection and dialogue," said Sabrina Bélisle, product manager at L'Oréal. "With a few simple online questions, the new Youth Code Generator instantly communicates through visuals the scientific innovation and personalization of the Youth Code skincare line. As a totally unique form of communication between the brand and our fans, the Youth Code Generator enables consumers to instantly share and compare their creations as a fun and lasting digital representation of Youth Code."
