ADOBE TO LAUNCH U.S. CAMPAIGN

Adobe Systems of Mountain View, California will launch a U.S. print campaign in September for its PhotoDeluxe software, which is a home version of its digital imaging software. The ads will be created by Foot, Cone & Belding's San Francisco office. In Canada, Adobe just does co-op advertising with retailers that sell the company's products. The retailers handle the advertising. The Macintosh version of PhotoDeluxe became available in North America in January. The PC version came on the market two months ago. The software allows users to modify, personalize and enhance photographs on their home computers. The photos can be incorporated into greeting cards and calenders, and users can also create photo collages and remove the "red eye" effect.
