TOSHIBA FLYING AT COMDEX

People attending the COMDEX/Canada '95 computer show are being invited to fly with Toshiba of Canada. The Markham,Ont.-based computer maker is setting up an Air Toshiba jet where those on board can try out the newest Toshiba notebook computers which the company is trying to get on the laps of as many frequent flyers as it can. Those taking the COMDEX flight will be shown a presentation on Toshiba technology. The five machines being highlighted are the Satellite T2130CS and T2130CT, the Satellite Pro 400CS and 400CDT and the Portégé 610 CT, all of which came on the market in mid-June. The promotion was created in-house. COMDEX is taking place in Toronto July 12-14. Separately, Toshiba is reviewing its ad account which was preivously with Chiat/Day Advertising of Toronto.
