CULTECH SWITCHES TO ATKINS & ELLIS
By Adnews Staff
The CulTech Research Centre of Toronto has hired Atkins & Ellis of Toronto to handle PR for its annual InterActive conference. The next three-day event will take place in February 1997, and will feature workshops with tutorial specialties ranging from those focusing on a particular Web site authoring package, to discussions of intellectual property rights on-line. CulTech "considered other agencies," but chose Atkins & Ellis because it has already done work for the organization, Cultech chair Joe Green told Adnews yesterday. The incumbent for the conferences was The Publicity House of Toronto. CulTech is the Ontario branch of the federal government's Pan Canadian Network of Research Centres. It structures partnerships and consortia among universities, governments, and private industries, fostering precompetitive advances in technologies and understanding.
