Stanfield's begins testicular cancer awareness promotion

Clothing company Stanfield's of Truro, NS has begun an initiative in association with the Canadian Cancer Society to raise awareness of testicular cancer. The effort is based at a website located at <http://www.guyathome.com>, where visitors can watch a man attempt to live in a Toronto loft outfitted with web camera for 25 days while wearing nothing but underwear. If 25,000 people vote to "like" him on Facebook during that time, Stanfield's will donate $25,000 to the society. During his stay in the loft, "Mark" will take part in various activities determined by public voting. "As a testicular cancer survivor, it's important to me that young men are aware of the risks, especially because it can affect guys as young as 15," said Mark. "Hanging out at home in my underwear all day for one day sounds great, but doing it for 25 straight days is going to be a challenge. I'm hoping to bring some awareness to a worthy cause that affects men of all ages in Canada."
