LG Electronics Canada promotes new phones

LG Electronics Canada is about to conclude a marketing campaign for two new cell phones called the LG Pop and the LG Shine Touch. The initiative began in March and will end on April 11. The effort is centered on a website at <http://www.lg.ca/popshine> that can convert a consumer's photograph into a pop art style to be posted to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The campaign also included a contest for a trip for two to Los Angeles and a $5,000 shopping expedition. The promotion was supported with out-of-home advertising at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
