Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation hires TBWA

TBWA Vancouver has been hired by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation BC/Yukon Region to develop an awareness campaign aimed at young women between the ages of 18 and 25 in British Columbia and the Yukon. The agency won the assignment in a pitch process involving an unknown number of firms. The project includes planning, social media work, creative development, production, media planning and media buying. The campaign will begin in early 2010. "We are really happy to start working with TBWA Vancouver," said Janet Michell, the foundation's director of communications and public education. "We were impressed by the insights they collected and the ideas they put together. The Young Women's Breast Health Campaign is certain to be a success."
