Tourism Kelowna has retained DDB Canada of Vancouver as its advertising agency of record. The agency will work to market Kelowna and the Central Okanagan region of BC as a vacation destination. DDB won the account in a competitive process involving an unknown number of contenders. "Tourism Kelowna was looking for a communications partner that could leverage innovative strategies to champion Kelowna as a premier vacation destination," said Nancy Cameron, CEO of Tourism Kelowna. "We were impressed by DDB's strong integrated suite of creative services, including their social media offering. We're looking forward to exploring new creative ways to help draw visitors to Kelowna and the Central Okanagan region." Tourism Kelowna has also hired OMD Vancouver as its media agency of record. Both contracts are for a term of five years.
