Zoom Media buys Gym Screen Media

ClubCom International, a subsidiary of Montreal-based Zoom Media, has acquired Gym Screen Media, and out-of-home media company that operates digital displays in 160 fitness centres in the United Kingdom. With this deal, Zoom's inventory of UK fitness centre displays encompasses 650 venues. Six weeks ago, Zoom established a dedicated national sales staff in the UK. "Amalgamating the Gym TV network with our own will allow us to offer critical mass of the gym audience for advertisers seeking to reach fitness members across the UK market," said Dennis Roche, president of Zoom Media. No financial details are available.
