BMW prepares Mini party in Toronto

As part of its ongoing promotion of the 50th anniversary of the Mini brand, BMW Group Canada of Whitby, ON will conduct a special event in Toronto on Aug. 26. According to the company, it will include the largest gathering of Minis in Canadian history. The initiative will take place at Polson Pier beginning at dusk. It will offer games, prizes, music and a drive-in showing of the 2003 movie The Italian Job. In addition, a number of customized Minis designed by dealerships in the Greater Toronto Area will lead a parade of participating cars to the venue.
