New marketing vice-president at Starwood Hotels & Resorts

Toronto-based Starwood Hotels & Resorts Canada has promoted David Ogilvie to the position of vice-president of sales and marketing. He was most recently general manager of the 977 Room at the Westin Harbour Castle hotel in Toronto. Prior to that, he was vice-president of global corporate travel and a regional director of sales and marketing. He has also worked for the Savoy Hotel Company in London, England. Ogilvie is also chair the board of directors of Tourism Toronto.
