BrainStorm Group promotes itself

The BrainStorm Group of Toronto ran an ad for itself in the Globe and Mail on May 29. The creative takes the form of a coupon for a $40,000 discount on the agency's services for new clients meeting certain requirements. The ad directs readers to the agency's website for more information. "Despite the fact that we are in the business of creating ads for a wide range of clients, very few agencies ever advertise," said Ron Telpner, agency chairman and CEO. "We wanted to change that pattern and clearly demonstrate the kind of creative thinking that gets noticed and drives interest and sales."
