Visa Canada begins Art of Go campaign

Visa Canada has begun a marketing campaign called "The Art of Go." The initiative consists of public art installations interpreting the Visa brand. The participating artists are Jill Anholt of Vancouver, Shayne Dark of Toronto and Benny Nemerofsky Ramsay of Montreal. The effort is part of the company's larger "More People Go with Visa" campaign, depicts the credit card as a better payment method for consumer and business spending than cash or cheques. "The campaign communicates that people take action every day, the actions that are most important to them," said Brenda Woods, head of marketing at Visa Canada. "Visa is there for them to take action by providing a convenient and secure way to pay. By expressing what the campaign means to them through art installations, Shayne, Jill and Benny bring the Visa brand to life." The artworks will be displayed at the Vancouver Public Library, the Promenade de la Cathédrale in Montreal, and the Gardiner Museum, Dundas Square and the Distillery District in Toronto until the end of April.
