Brodie, Collenette join Hill & Knowlton

Hill & Knowlton has appointed Ian Brodie to the position of senior counsellor in its public affairs group in Ottawa. He will provide counsel to clients on provincial, federal and international government relations. Brodie was chief of staff to the Prime Minister of Canada from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that he was executive director of the Conservative Party of Canada. He is also an associate professor of political science at the University of Western Ontario. David Collenette has also joined Hill & Knowlton in Ottawa as a senior counsellor. Collenette was a member of the House of Commons for 20 years and served in the cabinets of three prime ministers. He has held portfolios including Minister of State (Multiculturalism), Minister of National Defense, Minister of Veterans' Affairs, Minister of Transport and Minister of Crown Corporations.
