EBay.ca hires Segal Communications

Toronto-based Segal Communications has been hired by EBay.ca to develop, promote and sell advertising on the auction website. Segal will also manage the display advertising on the site and seek to create relationships between advertisers and EBay. "Segal is building a dedicated sales team to run the EBay.ca account, and we anticipate an excellent response from the marketplace at the news they can now advertise on one of the Internet's most trafficked sites," said agency president Rob Segal. The account will be lead by Jesse Cassaday, newly-appointed vice-president of online media sales. He was previously at Rogers Digital Media.
