LeapFrog Canada conducts One Million Reading Hours campaign

Educational toy company LeapFrog Canada of Oakville, ON has begun a summer program called the "One Million Reading Hours Campaign." The goal of the program, which is aimed at school-age children, is to encourage participants to read for at least 15 minutes per day for 30 days. Visitors to the website <http://www.leapfrog.ca> can pledge their reading hours and track the progress toward a campaign total of one million hours of reading. Visitors can also lean about upcoming special events, watch videos and read blogs. Promotional workers will attend various events nationally during the campaign to encourage parents and children to sign a reading pledge book. The company is conducting the program in association with Traffik Group of Toronto. The initiative will run through the summer.
