Cathay Pacific Airways begins Hong Kong campaign

Vancouver-based Cathay Pacific Airways has begun an international marketing campaign to promote its new airplane cabin designs. The campaign, running in Hong Kong and a number of other international markets, also promotes the airline's flights to Canada. The initiative also includes an online component at <http://www.cathaypacific.com/experience>, which consists of a virtual tour of the new cabins as well as a contest. "With our new cabin designs we have something totally unique to emphasize, so we wanted a strong, stylish campaign to reflect that," said James Ginns, general manager of marketing at Cathay Pacific. "We will also use this campaign to build global awareness of the Cathay Pacific brand, highlighting the things our airline stands for such as the dynamic delivery of recognition to our passengers."
