Mars Advertising Canada opens in Toronto

Mars Advertising of Southfield, MI, has moved into Canada. The agency, which specializes in shopper marketing, has opened a new office called Mars Advertising Canada in Toronto. The office is headed by vice-president and channel director Ryan Walker. "The Toronto market has a high concentration of multinational companies, many of whom are seeking to improve marketing ROI and measurability," said Walker. "We hope to capture some of that business and deliver on those objectives. Given the trend away from traditional advertising and toward alternative forms of communication aimed at converting shoppers to consumers, we believe that ample opportunity exists for Mars in the Canadian market." Mars Advertising has branches in 12 US cities.
