Canadian Traffic Network hires Alpen

Canadian Traffic Network has appointed Peter Alpen vice-president and general manager of its western region. He will oversee the company's operations in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg. Alpen was previously director and vice-president of sales and marketing at Fraser Valley Broadcasters and Starcom Broadcast Sales. Prior to that, he was at Target Media. Canadian Traffic Network specializes in providing traffic and news reports to radio and television stations.
